Tracey how can you even pretend to be a witch if you don't like cats?
I Guess you will just have to get yourself some flying monkeys or do you have those when Amy brings the kids to visit. I'm pretty sure my Grandmother thought she had a whole tribe of them when my brothers and I came to visit.
Mimi: I have a cat he never leaves the apartment. I should not have a Cat as I am allergic to them. My Daughter and a friend rescued it when as a kitten it's mother got ran over by an 18 wheeler. I was really too young to be away from it's mother she brought it to me to "watch". My dog played mother to it though he is male. The cat has some dog like traits. Knows his name comes when called etc. His name is Mr Whiskers and I'm now in my 5th year of "Watching" him. He and the dog no longer play together as much since the dog went blind but they are still good friends. To me as well.
I was born 14 Jan 1954 by putting it that way I don't have to remember to update my age each year. I am retired now. I worked for the Toronto Transit Commission for 29 years. As a Subway Streetcar and Light Rail Mechanic. My last couple of years as foreman of the Subway Mechanics and Equipment Control Desk. In other words the Control tower only rather than dealing with drivers and passengers my duties were the vehicles and the mechanics who kept them running.
I also served with the Canadian Armed Forces 1st as a Cadet Instructor starting on my 18th Birthday then later as an Infantry Officer with the Lorne Scots Regiment whose Insignia is at the Top Left of these blogs.
I hope that those who read these writings takes something of use to them from the writing. At the least I hope they entertain or inform.
