An Award

Tracey saw fit to give me this award. Because of sheer craziness. I suspect she means this attitude.

I like to take the adage when life gives you lemons make lemonade a step further. When life gives you lemons turn them into offensive weapons. ( Which sometimes means waiting till they have gone bad enough the people you throw them at can't possibly use them to make lemonade without risking their health )

  1. As long as you don't chuck them at me!!!!

  2. Tracey you are perfectly safe. ( Aside from being on the other side of the pond putting you out of throwing range ). By Stupid I normally mean "Rude, Crude and Socially undesirable."

Or Bullies, by bullies I mean anyone be it one kid bigger than another to an elected official who abuses any position of power.

That especially includes someone who thinks hiding behind a supposedly anonymous posting to put someone down. Especially since there is no such thing ISP address can easily be tracked down and the comments reported. Depending where they came from charges can even be laid. Especially if the country has laws against promoting hate or encouraging discrimination against the disabled.

  3. I just noticed Odette also gave me the lemonade award. She may also like the fact I tend to either turn lemons into weapons or thank those who provide the lemons for them. They have many other uses beside projectiles and making pleasant drinks.

Also thanking someone for what the intended to be an insult has a habit of really irritating them. And continuing to thank them for further deflected insult attempts makes them good candidates for hair regrowth treatments or a toupee.

However as this reward requires me to say something I am thankful for it is that despite the lemons life has thrown. ( life not people ) I have pretty much managed to be the man I wish to be. There are things I may not have or be able to do anymore. But I have had them and done far more than most. For these things I am grateful. I still hope to improve and even completely recover. Enabling me to give back much more than I have myself been given.

  4. I would like to pass this award on to Kirst and Amy who are far more deserving of it than I.

  5. I think Achmed should get one as well after he got over his recent scary illness. However I think most of his writing would like chicken scratching to the rest of us. Do you think Steve would be willing to accept for both of them after all Steve is the one nursed him through it.

  7. Your Welcome Steve. I have an idea what you were going through. The species doesn't matter. I have had family pets pass away in my arms. Sounds like you and Achmed pulled through as a team
